Tony Stark was tired. But he had a planet to protect, even if everyone laughed at him whenever the prospect of alien invasions was brought up. He could count on one hand how many people he could trust, which was disheartening but then, what else was new?

Summary
The Infinity Stones have more conscience that anyone believes.
They know the universe needs protecting. So since the beggining of time, two of the six stones choose two guardias to do so. This guardians are called lord or lady, and the color of the stone that chosed them. The two are also always soulmates, they continue their job of protecting until they die, or pass the torch, then two different stones choose the next one.
The Infinity Stones know Thanos is coming, but they also know the universe is fucked up. They must choose the next guardians carefully. Luckily, it’s the turn of Space and Power, and they have the prefect candidates. Tony Stark and Daisy Johnson.
When this two unite. The universe stands a chance, as this two will do anything to protect it.
But it also means some people should be very afraid. I’m order to save the universe, some revenge is in order.
This is a tale about moving on, love, true friendship, of two heroes saving the universe, and of course, pure revenge.

After the Civil War, Tony was the most broken he has ever been, which is saying a lot. He's hit rock bottom before but, now he doesn't know if he can get up again. He honestly doesn't want to. Then he gets a visit from a not-so-dead God and the God has other plans. He needs Tony for his plans to work. So, Loki helps the genius out. And it might be the best thing that happened to Tony, like ever.
Tony got the Arc reactor after Siberia. SM: HC- didn't happen but Tony and Peter still got closer. T'challa told the UN that he has the rogues. Peter is 17. Harley is 15.

Tony gasped as he woke up, nearly choking on the mouthful of freezing air he sucked in. He panted, eyes frantic & searching for someone, anyone to help him. He laid defenseless and broken on the ground, weighed down by the suit of his own design. He was unable to sit up, let alone grasp for the release levers he’d built in. His whole body felt covered in an icy fire, lighting up every nerve ending as he felt the names burning themselves into his back. He screamed…Natalia…Clint… he bit down hard on his tongue…Wanda…Samuel….Scott…he screamed again, throat burning…Steven…Jame—everything went black.

The Winter Soldier was ordered to kill the Starks on December 16th, 1991. Only he didn’t finish that mission. Because Tony Stark still lived. Now free from HYDRA’s grasp, Winter knew that killing was wrong and that his ‘missions’ were null and void, and yet... And yet, he couldn't get that mission objective out of his mind. Maybe he was just on edge because he couldn’t gauge if Stark was a threat. That had to be it! That could be remedied easily. He’d watch Stark, figure out his threat level.
Meanwhile, Tony’s convinced Bucky Barnes was out to kill him, why else would the man be stalking him? When Tony confronts the man, Barnes claimed Tony was “not a threat” and “didn't need to be neutralized”. Offended, Tony began to share increasingly elaborate ways to “neutralize” the Winter Soldier.
Stark wasn’t a threat, Winter thought, but boy was it hilarious to see him try to prove he was.

They’re all yours.” Tony retreated a good distance away to where Rhodey, Vision, Natasha, and some guy in a black suit were standing. They began talking in low voices that Steve couldn’t hear, even with his enhanced hearing.
“What the hell?” Muttered Clint. Steve silently agreed. This was not going at all the way that he thought it would.

He’ll never know though. If the people who died would’ve been alive if Rogers, Romanov and that stranger started helping the moment they got out of DC.
It’s now a good two months later. Things have died down, some agents are back on their feet, SI production has started up again, Tony has had the time to sleep for more than 20 minutes and to wonder: why the hell didn’t they call me?Also if you read the description and the multiple tags, surprise, surprise, this an anti Steve motherfucking Rogers fic. (I'm sorry, I can't call him anything else, it's not in my vocabulary.)
