Summary
Kim Namjoon is a tired and soon-to-be-retired author and producer. As his best friend "suggested" (read as ordered) to him, he goes to the ocean, Busan, why, he doesn't know. In the parking lot of a supermarket, he comes across an uncommon sight. His mind goes blank as he watches silently: A man in all black grabs a child by the waist and hauls him like a potato sack. The child is a little wild creature who screams from the top of his lungs.
The man and Namjoon make eye contact, only for a few seconds. Then, the man freezes in his tracks.
"I'm not kidnapping him," he says, almost screaming in denial. "He is mine, I swear! If I were to kidnap a child, this one wouldn't be on my list. It's super dangerous to kidnap a yelly-yappy, you know?"
