He huffed in return, but a slight green on his cheeks betrayed the act. They turned away and prepared to hop off until a small green claw shot out and grabbed their wrist. Turning their head to look back at Battat, their eye-bar and shoulders relaxing as their gaze landed on a very, very green-faced pippins who looked anywhere but at them.
