If you have trouble sleeping, I will lend you my ear. It’s not the first time Dedue has said it, and Dimitri is starting to suspect it won’t be the last. Perhaps he should not have brought up that time they spent together as children, side by side in the dark, fingers laced together under the covers as Dimitri rambled nonsense at him until he fell asleep.
Dedue keeps offering to come to bed with Dimitri to help him sleep. What happens when he finally takes him up on it?

Summary
A plot divergent storyline that focuses on Rosi’s time undercover, kicking off from the start of his mission with a heavily altered cover story. He’s to reunite with Doflamingo while making no secret of his career as a Marine, and over the course of several months make increasingly frequent visits to Spider Miles. He’s to give the impression that he’s interested in rekindling their relationship, gaining his brother’s trust while making himself seem like a valuable asset; the goal being to ease his way into acting as a ‘double agent’, preferably at Doflamingo's request.
In the background, Rosi’s superiors are constantly working on fabricating leads and staging fake bases for Rosi to give away, teasing his brother into striking out in controlled environments. The end goal for the Marines being, once they’re comfortable with the DQ Pirates’ patterns, to ambush all or most of them while they're chasing one of Rosi’s ‘leaks’.
The waters start to muddy the more genuinely close Rosi feels to Doflamingo, and who he's actually playing becomes unclear. With his connection to the Marines weakening and his dependence on his brother deepening, Rosi realizes—maybe too late—that he's in over his head.

In the hours after Rufus’s death, Dimitri had quietly retired to his quarters once the meeting with Margrave Gautier and Lord Rodrigue had concluded. Dedue accompanied him, as he always did, but there had been an unspoken desire from Dimitri to be left alone. His body language, to Dedue, had shown this, but when the Dimitri’s bloodshot eyes landed on his knight, Dedue sensed another desire from him. Although he wanted to be alone, he wanted Dedue close by. Dedue had silently nodded and taken up his usual post outside of Dimitri’s tent, unwavering in his duty. A gentle touch from Dimitri fell against Dedue’s shoulder, wordless but overwhelming gratitude pouring from the prince. Dedue would stay as long as Dimitri needed him.

Professor Parvati shot him a look. “You are stabbing me in the back, Dedue.”
“No, Professor. I assure you,” Prince Dimitri said, chuckling. “If you ever cross Dedue, he will stab you in the front. I promise.”

“Liar,” Jon crooned with loving reproachment, reaching out to thumb a little bit of rum raisin on the tip of Martin’s nose as punishment.
Even breathed with such unfettered, undying affection, Martin hated that word. He hated how transparent he still was to the man he loved, how much he still truly saw him, saw through him. At least all it took to compel him now was a little melted ice cream rubbed clean off his nose and a winsome smile with love-puddled green and brown eyes.
“Okay, okay… fine,” he admitted with a resigned smirk and a sigh, “I don’t like the way they look at you. Okay? That’s all.”

The two men were dressed in traditional male Duscur wedding garb, dyed primarily with bright blues, as well as reds that were usually used sparsely in Duscur clothing. Golden threads trimmed the outside of the outfits. The seamstress back in Fhirdhad had been very cooperative with their requests and had promised to keep it all a secret. It wasn’t as if they were ashamed, but the less drama they had to cope with in their quiet, private ceremony, the better. Dimitri’s blonde hair was adorned with a flower crown. Before the ceremony, Dedue had put together a pair of crowns made of blue and purple wildflowers.
Dedue celebrates his wedding to Dimitri, in his homeland of Duscur.
