The time lapse suddenly stops and Kenma sits up just as sudden. First, he checks the space beside him, finding it empty.
Kenma spots the camera, groans and flops over back into the bed. There, he lingers for a bit. Then, he pulls himself up again and faces the camera. “Morning,” he croaks, obviously not fully awake.
“Why did Kuroo put the camera so far away,” he whines. “Now I have to get up.”

Finally, the heir turned towards the kneeling crowd. He paused as he caught Kuroo’s eyes. The god was standing at the front as if he had emerged from the mass behind him. He smiled at Kenma, raised his hands to reach for him but was too far away to actually make contact. His warm gaze never wavered from the blonde.
“Dance for me, Kenma”, he said, again with that drawl of his name, for only Kenma to hear.
Some stories are set in the stars. The one of guardian deity, Kuroo Tetsurou, and the rejected heir, Kozume Kenma, definitely was one of them.

“No,” Kuroo says slowly, “I’m not. I know Kenma like the back of my hand, but I’m not the observant one here. Kenma is.” A grin is beginning to slide across his face. “So he should be the one to notice these things, right?”
“Oh…” says Sawamura, “Kuroo, I’m not sure that’s gonna work—”
“It’s definitely going to work,” Kuroo says. “And it has the least potential for awkwardly backfiring. It’s the best plan ever.”

It’s hard to subtly hint that you’re into someone when the Venn diagram of “crush” and “best friend for nearly a decade” is a circle. Kuroo’s gonna work it out. Somehow.
