Summary
Sue tried not to think about the implications of her feelings. She tried not to think about what it meant that she thought about Mary always, she tried not to think about how much she hated not being around her. She knows it’s wrong, she knows whatever feeling this is is immoral, against every belief she’s had instilled in her since she was small. But part of her can’t seem to stop, no matter how much she wants to. Her mind was infected, Mary’s consciousness worming its way through hers until they were completely intertwined, and Sue was unable to separate herself from Mary. She hates it, she hates herself, but part of her doesn’t want to let it go, not when it feels like this.
