For Jane - An S3 Alternative
Here is my caveat on this story. I wrote it to circumvent what S3 will look like on March 19. As I do not plan to watch the show itself, I have used only the info from the MP synopses and the preview/trailer/info videos that MP has released. Based on what I have seen there, I've written this story to take some of those little clues and make the story turn out the way we all know it should--the way JA intended--with the return of Sidney for a Sidlotte HEA.
So, I hope you will enjoy my interpretation!

Summary
Sanditon shocked everyone with the ending, and many writers write their own version to continue this story.
I'm not a writer, I'm just so impressed by this story, that I decided to write my own version of the sequel.
The story immediately begins from the moment Charlotte left, and for the beginning I tried to imagine how Eliza's relationship with Sidney and all his families, including Georgiana, would develop, and what exactly would be the impetus for Sidney to decide to change the situation.
Maybe it turned out more romantic, than I expected, but it seems to me, that in the last episode, we saw such powerful emotions and feelings in Sidney , that it gives me reason to think, that he would be ready to turn the whole world for Charlotte's sake, which I tried to show in my story.Bookmarked by Radost

This story is basically about two people doing things in the wrong order: first getting engaged and then falling in love with each other.
Wait, wait, wait, wait… they are getting engaged? Yeah, and with one Sanditon storyline gone wrong, the others will need some fixing as well. Picks up at the beginning of Episode 3.

I've always been interested in what happened to Sidney in the years prior to meeting Charlotte - Eliza abandoning him, his time in Antigua and how it affected him, what happened with Mr Lambe and Georgiana, and I hope that Season 2 (when we get it) will go into this more. So I did a little historical research and read or reread a few books about the period and about the West Indies.
Most of the action takes place in the West Indies (past and present) but there are also detours to Sanditon and London, although the main focus is on thoughts and feelings, not complicated plot strands.
A HEA for Sidney and Charlotte (and Georgiana) that hopefully resolves a few moral dilemmas along the way.
