Summary
After realizing the error of his ways far too late, Paul Verlaine has long since given up on finding happiness ever again, believing that his seemingly eternal inability to move on from the partner he lost is his well-deserved punishment for all of his past sins.
...That is, until one evening, he meets an enigmatic young man who claims to be a version of Arthur Rimbaud from another world and time, having run away from his own universe to escape a certain death.

Arthur didn't have much of a childhood himself. He doesn't know how to give Chuuya the what he deserves, although he doubts Chuuya would appreciate him treating him like a child anyway. He thinks they both forget how young Chuuya really is sometimes. But with no responsibilities to distracting himself with, Chuuya is starting to remember he's actually a traumatised, troubled teen with an already impressive body count to his name.
