I never add any bookmark anymore because I just put everything I read into favorites folders in my browser. But I decided to add one just for this fic.
Good crack fic, some things I disliked, but that's fine as I enjoyed it.
But then [Spoiler for Chapter 17 onward]
The fic turns around in angst, which could be good, as it has some potential (nevermind the fact that the change was way too fast). The reason for it ? Completely stupid actions by the characters. Baffling. Absolutely insane.
Then for the rest of the chapters, it goes back and forth between : crack with 1A, which is hard (for me at least) to get into because it just switched to angst (and I'm pissed at the stupid decisions from the characters) ; and Izuku POV that's 'advancing' the plot.
And then at the end, Izuku fucking dies ?? Shit payoff. Feels like it comes out of nowhere.It's been described/shown that he's really strong. I don't remember the exact points, but he said in a group chat that he could beat all of 1A all together, even beat All Might (I'm pretty sure). With that, you have what happened in Chapter 17 take place, which makes no fucking sense, even emotionally. Then you have him take down All For One, but he's so badly injured he dies days/weeks later. AFO is probably still in potato mode. How does Izuku, probably almost at 100%, or at least stronger than canon loses????
Honestly, this is just a waste of time, don't even know why I'm writing this. Basically, the fic was crack for 16 chapters, then went angst and had Izuku die for completely stupid reason. Well, at the end of the day, it's fanfiction. Maybe the author just wanted to write angst ? idk, idc. Just wanted to write this because it pissed me off.
