Toji stepped closer towards the kids and grabbed Megumi's arm. The small boy had never really cared for his father, but he never felt fear towards him. In fact he’s never felt fear like he felt right now As he quivered in his tightening grip, fighting back tears and cries of pain.
“You fucking sorcerers…everyone around you always dies, it’s always the sorcerers. I should’ve killed you all.”

The next logical step is to become teen parents.

He waited for a moment, expecting Nanami’s words to fill him with some sort of dread for his future. Fill him with some sort of desperation. Ultimately it did not.
He imagined himself bleeding out in some ditch somewhere, his entire life disappearing behind him. His life became whittled down to just another number on the casualties list. Another life that Nanami would mourn. Another death Gojo would feel responsible for. Another corpse for Shoko to bury.
He found himself oddly at peace with that outcome.
