Summary

Summary
When his planet gets invaded by giant plant xenos, Ben finds himself much less worried then everyone else. Why that is he isn’t really sure of, but he still finds that worry nowhere to be found when one said plant knocks on his door.
Kassandria wasn’t expecting this wellness check to be particularly interesting. They would either help the sophont inside the apartment move into a hab, or recommend them a wardship and move on. In some ways they were correct, but they didn’t expect so much about their life would change from that day forward.
This is a story about a lot of things, but most of all, its about understanding that sometimes you try as hard as you can, and you fail. And that’s okay. Because other times, you succeed.

Summary
The Terran Accord doesn't have a chance at winning a war against the Affini Compact. Roger Withers, sole IT guy aboard McDaniels Weapons Manufacturing Co. Space Station 429, is well aware of this fact. Fearing his defeatist attitude (and pre-war search history) will call his loyalty into question should he step aboard a navy ship, Roger has prepared The Plan(tm) to stay out of the war for as long as possible.
The Plan(tm) goes wrong almost immediately, leaving Roger to deal with an injury, an empty space station, and the attention of one Hibiscus Malvace, Third Bloom.
This is set in the Human Domestication Guide universe, so kink will be involved at points. This is also my first work. I appreciate any constructive criticism you may have, including tags that fit the story's content that I hadn't thought to add.
