Summary
A drifter who doesn’t know his name, a General caught in an endless cycle of regret, and a mercenary wielding a sharp blade and an even sharper tongue.
Those three personalities can’t possibly mesh well - Or can they?
No. The answer is no.
Rover, Jiyan, and Calcharo get up to mischief, chaos, heartache and heartbreak, steaming sex, and - maybe - a little romance. Not necessarily in that order, though.
“How about no one fucks anyone else for a change?” Jiyan finally said in an exasperated sigh.
“You’ve been doing well at that,” Rover said, bitter.
Jiyan threw him an angry glower.
Then Calcharo surprised everyone when he said, “Actually, might be for the best. Until our work is done, I’ll stay put.”
“Seriously?” Jiyan asked incredulously.
“What do you want, a pinky fucking promise?” The mercenary barked.
That left the man between them.
“Does it even matter what I say in this case?” Rover stubbornly asked and crossed his arms. The others stared and waited until he added, “Fine!”Series

Twenty damn years and Rover hadn’t changed one bit - aside from the memory loss. But Luuk is more than happy to remind him of all the things they shared in the golden days past…
“But you said we weren’t friends,” Rover now said without looking at Luuk.
“No,” Luuk whispered, feeling every single of his senses vibrate in response to Rover. His skin baked in his warmth that he was close enough to feel. His nostrils flared to take in his scent that was not familiar, not the old bite of disinfectant, latex gloves, and chemicals. His eyes were glued to the outline of his profile. And his tongue smacked against his palate when it recalled the familiar taste - always coffee. Rover had drunk more coffee than anyone else he knew, himself included, and that was an impressive but also concerning record.
Luuk waited until he could see the glimmer of gold, Rover’s irises darting to him, then he finally willed his lips to form the words like a sculptor carved marble:

Summary
After defeating the Void Worm, Rover is tasked by the academy to investigate the death of a former student and link how they tie into a past tragedy that took place at Startorch. Rover is paired with Dr. Herssen. A warm, perceptive doctor whose kindness and lingering gaze feels far too intentional.
During the investigation, the inconsistences, falsehoods, clues about Rover's past, and anomalies buried by the far too immaculate medical records stirs unrest in Rover. Curated truths and misdirection have been maintained by someone keeping a secret for a long time. Rover confides in Dr. Herssen's strong moral compass, but soon finds his warmth may be hiding something far more lethal beneath the surface.

Summary
