Summary
They say that separation makes the heart grow fonder, but is that true. Serena goes on her sabbatical, but Bernie has one request. That they meet once a month for a weekend in different cities. There's never discussion of the hospital, friends to an extent, but no work. Until the last month where Bernie has to tell Serena something rather important.

I wrote about their first week together between The Kill List and Parasite and now I have started writing from the evening of Parasite until the episode Hallelujah. I am trying to fill in all the bits we aren't seeing! :)

Bernie didn’t mind Serena going out, didn’t mind Morvern and Jasmine staying over, in fact, she’d be the one to suggest that. She just didn’t believe Serena’s reasoning that she was only going to ‘keep an eye’ on Morvern and Jasmine and make sure they got home safely.
