It's not until the spring of 2024, when Joel waltzes back into your life with a sarcastic teenage girl in tow, that you allow yourself to think that maybe, just maybe things can go back to the way they used to be. However, neither of you is the person you were 20 years ago, and you’ll soon discover that understanding how you fit into each other’s new lives won’t be as simple as you once dreamed.
