Regulus hasn’t had a real meal in weeks but he is fine.
Okay, maybe fine is not the right word. His brain hurts, he’s tired and his stomach hurts a lot and he’s dizzy and a little confused but nothing of this really matters because he’s sure he’s dying. It’s only a matter of time.
And since his existence will cease soon enough, Regulus is not about to waste a second longer doing anything he doesn’t want to. Or, not doing something he desperately wants to…Or
In which a very picky eater Regulus Black gets fucked even further by the universe when he develops a gluten and lactose intolerance and after a whole summer torturing his intestines with inappropriate food and/or starving, his body starts to show signs it isn’t doing super great and Regulus' pureblood ass is sure he’s dying.
So, he decides to kiss James Potter for shits and giggles, since he has been angrily in love with the gryffindor for years now.
Which would have been fine…

He was shaking, bleeding and scared. There was a slightly stunned look in his eyes - as if he were drugged, and he looked as if he had been assaulted. Among the injuries that James could identify, his right arm was the one that attracted the most attention, being a mixture of black and red. He was completely soaked.

First year: Dumbledore is missing. McGonagall is in charge of conducting the school while he is gone. She inadvertently accepts Tom Riddle as the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor and shortly after that the attacks against the muggle borns and half bloods begin. The students' heirs to the sacred twenty eight families are suspects, including the Black Twins, except that, one by one, the heirs start to disappear. Tom takes a special interest in one of his young students and the Marauders are formed, not only as a group of allies, but as an association to unravel the mystery about the monster roaming the school.

Well, that's only if you don't look at his biology ever since the radioactive spider bite. Or his extensive track record of running away from his guardians and that he was homeless for a bit. Or the amount of people in his life that have died because he's some kind of bad luck charm. Or that his foster-dad is Tony Stark now.
Or the fact that he was randomly kidnapped one morning on his way to school, and now he's in an alternate universe with a bunch of strange vigilantes that keep stalking him.
He thinks they mean well, but they're really weird. Besides that Red Hood guy. He's pretty cool. Though something about them- especially Nightwing- is familiar, that's not important. He has enough on his plate right now, considering there are multiple people trying to upend the fabric of time and space. He can figure out the other details later.
