You just broke up with your boyfriend, while you thought he was about to propose, he actually told you about his new relationship with a coworker of yours. You decided to go to New York to figure something else out.
Jude felt like he is starting to get a hold of himself. He moved upstate to get some change after what happened with his wife and his mother. He also needed a place to raise his son safely.
What happens when you two meet and start a relationship for your own personal gain and not for love (at least at the beginning).

Swimming. Most people think of a pool or beach that you play around in is swimming. To you, it is a sport. You have done swimming all your life but it became a competitive sport to you when you were in 7th grade. Swimming was the thing that kept you motivated and nothing else made you feel as good. Until you met Flip Zimmerman.
Flip Zimmerman was known to everyone in Colorado Springs as he was their golden boy/local champion of swimming. He was very determined and very strong. He built up a wall because of how his pasts relationships ended, but something happens when he notices you.

Frank Langdon is not as fortunate. After being fired from his job as a resident physician in PTMC's emergency department, and handed divorce papers days following his return from rehab, Frank is looking for a fresh start. His search for a sublet is going miserably. He doesn't have many physical possessions to fill a space, just his emotional baggage and a well-trained dog.
As a last resort, Frank reaches out to the only person he knows might not judge him for his past mistakes. Lucky for him, she has a room available. And what's the worst that could happen by moving in with a sort-of-co-worker-sort-of-friend?
