Summary
When the universe decides to get Hayden Pike put on rest the same time that Ilya Rozanov gets sick, there's a certain arrangement that works for everyone but them. Hayden wants nothing less than spending days alone with Rozanov, the asshole who's dating his best friend- well, nothing less except for letting Shane Hollander down.
Basically, Hayden is forced to see a different side of Ilya and begins to understand his relationship with Shane/what Shane sees in him.

Part of my 12 Days of Fan Fic! The trope prompt was "forced allies/quest", which is HARD to do as a one-shot, so it will be continued with at least one more prompt.
Non-canon, taking place in 4th year.The Mage decides that Simon's imperfections lie in a problem wit the ritual- some of his power has been split, and there's only one person born in his year powerful enough to be the cause.
Baz is kidnapped, and has to bargain with Simon to get him to attempt to break him out. -
