If you asked who was the messiest of the two, that answer was easy. Definitively, without any doubt, Phil. And though he would argue it was messy-cluttered and not messy-dirty, he would not argue that he was the guilty party. So sure, Dan was relatively tidy. Phil was the messier of the two.
But if you asked which of them got off on getting dirty-messy… That was Dan, all day long.
