Dari sekian banyak hal yang ia lalui, Choi Soobin melewati hari patah hati karena semua mantan pacarnya menganggapnya tidak serius. Sampai ia sendiri semakin bosan, kerja part time, ke perpustakaan, hang out bersama teman, dan kembali bimbingan dengan Professor Na.
Empat bulan terakhir sejak Beomgyu mengajak ke shelter di mana para hybrid kucing sedang ramai diperbincangkan satu negara Korea Selatan. Soobin belum pernah memelihara kucing, ia jujur pada Taehyun tidak ada sedikitpun pengetahuan soal kucing sampai Taehyun datang mengajarinya dua kali dalam seminggu, anggaplah seperti seorang trainer bagi Soobin.

The smug, cooing edge in the alpha's voice rubbed him the wrong way, and oh, how he wanted to beat some sense into the alpha.
“Listen, pup,” Yeonjun gritted through his teeth instead, holding onto the edge of the table to refrain himself from actually punching Soobin’s pretty face and tuning out the alpha's scent to keep an edge to his voice, “I’m not sure if you know how it works, but the older I get, the harder it’ll be for me to give you an heir.”

Soobin hears the sigh of relief Yeonjun lets out, feeling the weight on his chest get worse, like a hand pressing down on him. He didn't realise how bad things had gotten, that hearing just a few words from Soobin was enough to take away so much stress from Yeonjun. He's always tried to be as small a burden on Yeonjun as he could be, but he knew it was never enough. He was always too much.

Yeonjun starts the year by asking for a break, and Soobin learns the hard way that losing his boyfriend meant almost losing his entire world.

There was a slight possesiveness in Soobin's tone, and quite frankly, he knew what he was doing because Yeonjun's cheeks were tinted pink just then. "And since you're so persistent on breastfeeding Beomgyu, why don't you breastfeed me too?" He asked, half demanding.
