He was eerily quiet as they both got dressed in their black suits that morning, sunlight streaming in through the gaps in the curtains and painting streaks across Shouyou’s face. Before they went outside to get Natsu, Tobio tugged on Shouyou’s hand and pulled him into a hug, holding him close. Shouyou released a shuddering sigh, tucked his face into Tobio’s neck, and just breathed against his skin. They stayed like that for three minutes.
Shouyou still didn’t cry.
