after buck takes theo in, his life becomes even more intertwined with eddie's, who is determined to help buck in his new journey as a parent. so he starts sleeping over more, then picking up theo from daycare, then buying groceries. and then he's basically living at buck's place, so he might as well move in. and when he hears that having a stable partner could help in the adoption process, he doesn't hesitate to ask for buck's hand in marriage. as friends, you know.
