Summary
Buck did it - he saved Bobby and Chimney from the super virus. In the middle of it all, his senses came online, showing him as a Sentinel.
Only as a newly booted up grade five Sentinel, things aren't exactly easy on him. He'll need a Guide and learn how to deal with his new senses without zoning every second of the day. If only he didn't feel calmer around Tommy than any Guide he'd met. And on top of it all, his place at the 118 seems to be falling apart as well.
Things could be easy, but they weren't. For now at least. Who knew what could happen?

“Evan, what the heck!”
Buck snorted at his boyfriend's expression, slapping a hand to his mouth, a bit of his own surprise likely mirrored in his own face.
“I'm so sorry!” He set down the half rinsed plate, quickly drying his hands before he pulled at the sleeve of Tommy's t-shirt. “It's not sore, is it?”
Tommy blinked, and shook his head. “No, it's fine. I mean, we both know I can take a much harder bite than that, but, ah, where did that come from?”
“I don't know…” Buck shrugged sheepishly. “I was just here listening to you and I got hit by this wave of emotion because you're a weirdo about your coffee but you're my weirdo and I'm, like, ridiculously in love with you. It just overwhelmed me for a moment and then the next thing I know I'm, uh, chomping down on you.”
He watched as Tommy's brow furrowed and then he was rinsing his own hands and patting them dry on his jeans before reaching out and tugging Buck closer.
A smirk slowly spreads across Tommy's face, his eyes crinkling and glowing with a sudden mischief.
“I'm not a professional but if I was, I'd diagnose you, Mr Buckley, with a little case of affection aggression.”

Summary
Five times Tommy calls Buck Sugar and One time Buck calls Tommy sugar
Tommy’s alarm blares and he has to extract himself from Evan’s entangling limbs in order to reach his phone and shut it off.
Evan groans, throwing his arm back over Tommy’s chest, and slotting a knee between Tommy’s legs. “Noooo,” he says, burrowing his head into Tommy’s shoulder, curls tickling Tommy’s neck. The salty scent of sex still clings to his skin after they stayed up for to late for a work night.
“Evan, I need to get ready for work.” Tommy prods at Evan’s arm, pushing it gently down so that Tommy can at least sit up and turn on the light.
Evan hisses, reminding Tommy a little bit of Gollum from The Lord of the Rings. Tommy chuckles and ruffles Evan’s hair. How did he get so lucky? Tommy’s still not sure. Sometimes, he wakes up afraid that this has all been a dream and that Evan’s not with him but with someone younger and cooler. Someone who doesn’t have a shitty past. Who’s less of an asshole. A solidly good guy who hasn’t had to excavate that goodness out from underneath layer upon layer of sedimentary douche bag.
