Steven woke up with a pain like no other. Some part of him was missing; something big was gone.
He pulled his shirt up to check, but saw nothing besides smooth skin. His gem was gone. The one part of him that had never changed had left no trace of ever being there.
And then he sees it, floating in the air, glowing, and reforming.
Not into him, but into her.
Pink Diamond.
Rose Quartz.
His mother.“There you are, Starlight,” White purrs.
Steven’s world shatters.
His mom is back.~~
