Hyun-tak thought they were doing a good job at hiding the dating thing for months. Seong-je was cooperative, and his friends haven't voiced any doubt. So Hyun-tak believed everything was normal. Until it wasn't.
Seong-je thought dating Hyun-tak in secret was lame and annoying as fuck. But because Hyun-tak obviously wasn't ready for the big confrontation yet and wouldn't be for a while, Seong-je gave in. It was fun at first. Until it wasn't.
All of their friends thought they were idiots.
Or, 5 times Hyun-tak and Seong-je thought they got away from being caught, and the 1 time they didn't bother to hide.

"How come you always let Suho touch you but not the rest of us?" Baku was pouting at the end of his sentence, his shoulders slumped in an exaggerated display. From his place by Sieun's side, Suho stuck his tongue out.
Sieun opened his mouth to give a retort, something about how he and Suho just had a different kind of bond than Sieun had with the others, but before he could get a word out, Gotak had already latched onto Baku's arm as he dragged him and Juntae away, complaining about being tired and wanting to go to bed.
As they walked away, Sieun could see Baku turn back to him and Suho with wide eyes, before he whipped his head back to face Gotak, who was nodding at him.

Here's what I think could have happened immediately after the end scene of Weak Hero season 2 when Suho and Sieun reunite. I've never written fanfiction before but the fact we didn't even get a hug made me throw my phone, so here's an extended version of the final scene, as through Sieun's eyes.

Sieun has had this dream before.
He’s seen the boy in front of him wake up from his coma a thousand different times. Seen him crack open his eyes and smile that too-wide cocky smile. Seen his face contort as he screams that everything is Sieun’s fault. Seen him blink warily and look at Sieun’s face without recognition. He’s seen a thousand different versions of this moment every night in his sleep.
But Sieun doesn’t think he’s dreaming right now.
The air is warm and humid on his skin. His hair, damp with sweat, tickles his forehead. The grass is spongey and uneven beneath his feet. His chest burns from running as he draws in unsteady breaths. And his heart. He can feel it beating. Fast.
Too fast.
Because this is real. And the boy in the wheelchair before him is awake.
Ahn Suho.
His best friend.

But as he leads into university with the determination to become someone new, he begins to forget that attempts at creating a new identity will eventually result into breaking his old one. Bit by bit, his motivation to be someone else entirely has him absolutely shattering on one unlucky day, when his new self manages to overshadow his old self's strict habit. That habit being, taking his necessary heat suppressants and wearing his scent blockers.
