what a lovely little fic. the soft feel laced throughout it gives it a sort of lulling feel to the reader, almost as if you’ve just gotten home from a long day. the flashback within it pointing to the first time the pair started to realize their friendship might not be just friendship was so vivid and adorable–i could easily picture how red jungkook’s ears were when his fingers brushed against hoseok’s accidentally. hoseok’s panic over jungkook announcing he was coming over unexpectedly at the news of hoseok’s illness gave such a realistic feel to the story as well as jungkook’s insistence in taking care of hoseok. the cuddling made my heart feel so warm and i loved the hints of attraction and promises of more things to come for the pair. i’m sure jungkook ended up with a gnarly cold after this but i’m sure he thought it was worth it in the end.

what a soft, bittersweet fic. while i would absolutely hate to see the members go through anything like this in real life, the realistic portrayal that surrounds this fic immediately draws the reader in. jungkook’s struggle with his health had my heart squeezing in my chest while reading this, and his fear of the future coupled with his sudden identity issues at the thought of losing the thing that means most to him is extremely relatable. the way the pair slowly find themselves drawn together again through jungkook’s hardships was so endearing and soft. topped off with the sweet confessions, this fic left me with a smile on my face albeit my heart a bit sad for the changes jungkook had to go through. but life is filled with bittersweet moments and that is something perfectly captured within this fic.

this was an amazing mixture of sweet and smutty. jungkook is so endearing with the descriptions the writer gives of his bunny ears and hybrid quirks with the perfect hint of humor to it all with how namjoon misinterprets jungkook’s bunny hybrid behavior. the writer gives just enough backstory to the pair that i found myself invested in them and cheering them on for their first time together. i also really enjoyed how the writer touched on the fact that namjoon loves jungkook for who he is–not just because he is a bunny hybrid. the transition between what namjoon thought having sex with his hybrid boyfriend would be like to what it actually was was so smooth as well. the scene at the end where the pair discuss their misinterpretations of each other was so sweet and i loved the teasing jungkook threw namjoon’s way. what a lovely twist on what you would assume a “hybrid home depot” to be.

this little oneshot is so sweet with just a hint of humor throughout it. it’s easy to picture jungkook as the type of husband/mate to fret over his significant other if they were pregnant and it’s brought to life within this oneshot. jimin’s annoyance over what he sees as smothering behavior by jungkook is presented quite humorously, giving the reader the sense that jimin doesn’t truly mind the babying deep-down. the dynamic really leans true to real relationships which is something i really enjoy as a reader. yoongi’s appearance lends a lovely amount of backstory for the characters as well as a sounding board for jimin’s mixed emotions at jungkook’s absence due to work. the pairs’ reunion is so cute and it’s easy to see the amount of love they have in their relationship, especially with how attentive they are to each other. a cute, fluffy read.

these two fit so seamlessly together even though neither of them has ever had the courage to speak up about their feelings until jimin falls into an unexpected heat. i enjoyed the somewhat “slow burn” of this pwp in that it took several thousand words before the two were finally joined. it lent more of a longing, agonizing feel to jimin’s character, bringing his struggles with his heat even more vibrance. namjoon’s gentleness with jimin was really sweet and it was endearing how he slid into body worshipping when he realized jimin must’ve had troubles with love and/or sex in the past. the ease with which they fall into an official relationship despite the circumstances really shows how much the pair care about each other and have pined for each other. a nice hint of sweetness woven through a pwp.
