When marnie comes running into the capitol building, tess must decide if shes going to bring marnie with her as she follows joel and ellies trail across the country, or will she leave her behind.

so basically, The story goes as normal up until tess, joel, and ellie go to the capitol building, and tess gets “infected” ellie and joel go running and tess stays behind, but fedra never comes, neither does the infection. she’s immune. Then Marnie comes running through the doors, followed shortly afterwards by 2 clickers. Tess screams, watching as Marnie sprints away, before fighting the clickers herself. she barely lives, a new bite on her stomach, identical to her older one. she finds Marnie, passed out and barely breathing. What happened to her? So she picks Marnie up, god she’s light, and carries her off to a secluded old room under the stairs. she piles furniture against the door and waits for Marnie to wake up.

So much heartbreak, so much loss, so many missed opportunities. But in here, it’s warm! Cozy up by the fire. Here, have a bowl of sour skittles and a colorful, cozy quilted blanket.
