He would let Nayuta do it. He would devote himself to him, he would do anything for his dear little brother.

Summary
He did this knowing that touching Allen burns. It's stupid, almost funny. Perhaps Kanata was expecting something like this to happen. Perhaps he even hoped so.
It's not just that simple, not really. Having hope never is.
He's not sure if he's supposed to want this, if he's allowed to, if it's reasonable even. Maybe Kanata already knows the answer but pretends not knowing, pretending he's still in the middle of figuring it out just that he wouldn't need to stop yet.

Maybe thay are in this situation because Tozai had rejected Namboku just a few weeks ago. Maybe it is because Mita is just so lonely that he is ready to get affection from anyone willing to give it to him. Summary
Kanata has never given much thought to the shape of his phantometal. It's not something that really matters to him. As long as it serves to open cozmez's way to the top, he couldn't care less.
The first time he spares half a thought to phantometals and the shape they took, it's with Suzaku's necklace weighing on the palm of his hand.
