    What did Wave like most about North? North’s eyes. They were so expressive, Wave could read most of his expressions, he could tell what North was feeling. Except when North makes that one expression, eyes dark and heavy, tight smile, and a heaviness in his shoulders.

    Yeonjun met his eyes -those big, round brown eyes that always seemed to see right through him -and swallowed hard.

    “Do you want me to tie you up, bunny?” Yeonjun blurted out, and immediately, the kitchen fell silent.

    He felt Soobin freeze in his arms, his delicate body stiffening as a soft blush crept up the back of his neck. Yeonjun tried to catch his expression, but Soobin quickly turned away, focusing on the kitchen counter instead, hiding the rush of emotion on his face.

    “Where is that coming from?” Soobin mumbled after a long pause, but Yeonjun caught the tremble in his voice -just enough to know it wasn’t entirely casual.

    “I don’t know…” Yeonjun said softly, leaning closer to brush a kiss over Soobin’s nape. “I just thought maybe… you might enjoy it.”

    And after two years of being together, Yeonjun had always believed he knew Soobin better than anyone else. Every twitch, every fear, every spark of joy. Too well, maybe.

    But he was wrong.
