Ivan’s mind fills with nothing but Till and the harshness of his words. How could he not listen and believe after Till’s told him so many times. The party was his nail in the coffin.
Till only ever meant him well.
Or, Ivan's obsession with Till blinds him from the dark nature behind Till's actions.
