Summary
Keeping their relationship a secret was never going to be easy, but for Yuuta and Megumi, it was necessary. As Jujutsu sorcerers, love was a dangerous luxury—one that could be used against them, one that could get them killed. Missions became their only escape, the perfect excuse to steal moments alone, to press desperate kisses into dark alleyways and tangled sheets.
But sometimes, even those safe havens aren't always safe.
“You’re being dramatic,” Megumi mutters as Yuuta makes him sit on the bed, rolling his sleeve up to assess the deep gash along his arm.
“Dramatic?” Yuuta scoffs, fingers already glowing with reversed curse energy. “You’re bleeding all over the place.”
“It’s just a scratch.”
Yuuta doesn’t dignify that with a response, focusing on healing him instead. Megumi, for all his stubbornness, lets him. He always does.

Summary
The entire yard was plunged in a coldness that went beyond physical. Toge’s eyes widened and he froze up, back tensing. “Okkotsu!” The trainer shouted.
Toge turned again and pinned him with his sharpest glare. “Don’t come closer,” he snapped, before he could think about it. He paused, mouth tightening into a line. The man froze, and alongside him, so did his father. Neither of them moved.
Toge turned back to Okkotsu, who was staring at him, wide-eyed, and less exhausted. “I’m sorry,” he repeated. “I don’t know why they ordered you to do this.”
Okkotsu smiled, sheepish and tired still.
“I’m Toge,” he repeated softly.
“I’m Yuuta.”

Toge’s mark develops when he’s thirteen. His power is coveted and dangerous, and he requires a guard to protect him. Luckily for him, Okkotsu Yuuta, also thirteen, has just been discovered by the Inumaki clan, and they want him for Toge. Yuuta is devoted, beyond their expectations. This causes problems.

Summary
“We’ll be together forever,” Yuuta repeats, “and I’ll get even stronger. Stronger than Gojo Satoru. So don’t do something like that again, okay?”
Toge nods into his shoulder.
“You’re mine, right? Forever.”
Toge nods again.
Yuuta pulls back from the hug, giving him a kiss that makes him curl his toes, cheeks flushing.
"And," Yuuta continues, "if for some reason we can't be together…" the boy trails off, gaze darkening with something foreboding. He traces his fingers underneath Toge's jaw, raising his chin.
"...Then we'll die together."
(Or: Yuuta and Toge deal with the consequences of their promise.)
