Summary
I might have occasionally left marks on her so that, if people were to look closer than I’d feel comfortable with, I could at least ward them off, and I might have wished, sometimes, that they knew it was me and no one else doing that to her – but biting her all over her body, while soothing in the moment, never did make me feel any better in the long run, and would only leave bruises on Sendai-san that mocked me with their uselessness for days.
The necklace, like her earrings, were always meant to mark her as mine in a way that wouldn't gradually just fade over, even if we were the only ones who knew what they meant.
But that doesn’t seem to be enough for Sendai-san anymore, and I’d be lying if I said, in full seriousness, that it was ever enough for me.

Summary
Technically, it wasn’t a necklace, and technically, Sendai-san didn’t buy it for me. Therefore, one could say that she listened earnestly to my request to not get me a necklace for my birthday, and that I had nothing to complain about.
At least, that was Sendai-san’s excuse when I opened the neatly-wrapped box in front of me to find a collar that was way too big for any pet we might ever have, and way more ornate too. The sight of it was so unexpected, and my first reaction so visceral, that it must’ve shown on my face, leading Sendai-san to say for a second time: “It’s not for you.”
“Then what is the meaning of this?”
“Isn’t it obvious?”

Summary
“I’m a creature of habit, you know. You’re getting me too used to you.”
Sasha’s voice cracks halfway through her reply. She can’t bring herself to feel ashamed about it. “Is that a bad thing?”
“Not bad. Inconvenient.” She lies back on Sasha’s chest, ear right over her heart - and Sasha begs for it to slow down, for Marcy not to hear it. “I’m just really going to miss this.”
So Sasha feels anything but selfish, feels justified, when she pipes up and says:
“Well, you don’t have to leave.”Or: Sasha and Marcy move in together and have to deal with their longstanding feelings for Anne, along with newfound feelings for each other.

Catra knows nothing outside of Horde Prime’s sphere, so it’s fascinating to her that the First Ones would go about it in the opposite way. “They won’t come find us here.”
Catra wishes there was a way to communicate with her, to imprint into her mind questions such as what’s your name and what do you want from me and aren’t we supposed to be enemies? But the girl keeps dragging her, blonde hair glinting under the light of the bleak sun, and Catra’s smiling.
It’s only when she’s back on the ship that Prime realizes what’s happening.
