Summary
When a rising gossip blog emerges 6 years after the death of the King of Rock, Viserys Targaryen, the public begins bringing up all of Targaryen Records’ familial dark history and secrets. This corners the dynasty into pulling out all their stops in an effort to start over with a clean slate. That means, that even the one-hit wonders Helaena and Aegon are to come out of hiatus, as well as new records from the old teenage rivals Rhaenyra Targaryen, and Alicent Hightower. What everyone doesn’t expect is Lucerys Velaryon making his debut under the pressure of the targetted rumors, with the on-hiatus rockstar and estranged uncle, Aemond Targaryen, appointed as his manager.

Aemond is scrolling through a website and sees a screen clip of a live titled, ‘Local twink needs dick bad’. The sight of messy brown hair and a taut body makes him instinctively lose all sense and click. And his heart stops not because of the possible virus he’s just left himself open to, but because of the person on the other side of the screen.
It’s his nephew Lucerys, staring into the webcam. He’s stroking himself, smiling, and asking if he’s been a good boy.
He’s alive even though Aemond is certain he’s just killed him this past summer.

Summary
The last real memory Aemond had of Luke was when he punched him in the face for talking shit about his missing eye when they were kids. Ever since, obligatory family functions over the years have become a game of mutual avoidance. Viserys's sixtieth birthday dinner was just another one of those occasions. But the thing is, Aemond and Luke aren't children anymore, and Aemond begins to notice how Luke is weirdly insistent on being in his company. The reasons are a slowly uncovered mystery over the course of the night until it all becomes glaringly obvious.
“Oh, Lucy Lou,” Aemond sang, then made a tsk-ing sound with his tongue. “You have a crush on me.”

all the detail and intricacy written into this piece feels like a warm blanket. it’s so nostalgic and fun, tinted with a midwestern america feel to it. the targaryens are so very human in this, and lucemond in return are raw… in a lot of different ways.
