“We got a problem?” Gerard asks, same voice he uses to taunt hecklers onstage. The bravado slips on easy now, like a favorite coat.
The guy doesn’t take the bait, just keeps his arms crossed tight over his chest, jaw working.
Whatever. It’s not Gerard’s problem if some redneck gets worked up about a guy wearing makeup.

“It’s okay,” Frank says, gentle, his just-rescued-you-from-the-pound voice. Frank isn’t sure Gerard is listening — he’s closed his eyes, off in one of his worlds, even as he keeps rocking against Frank’s body. Usually, Frank doesn’t like disrupting him, but as endorphins overtake the pain he can’t stop the impulse to ask. “You could put it out on me. When you’re done.”

“What’s that?”
In lieu of an answer, Gerard presses a button and the thing jumps to life. It sounds like automatic weapons fire, snapping electric current pulsing between the prongs in Gerard’s fist. For a moment, Gerard’s face is lit up briefly in otherworldly blue light. He’s grinning. “It’s perfect for you.”

“I think you gotta— Maybe you should just force it out,” Gerard says. He sounds a little panicked.
“I can’t,” Frank replies. “Doesn’t work like that.”
“Here, I could—”
Frank looks up, finally, to see Gerard peering down at him. He’s never woken up during surgery to see the scalpel coming down, but he imagines it feels something like this.

Summary
No one listens to the university's radio station. They got their broadcast license taken away in the nineties and now they only exist to blast the worst of French rap across the campus at all times of the day. But Pierre listens to it. He listens on Mondays and Wednesday evenings, always a few minutes before the show is actually meant to start, because sometimes DJ Roulette is eager and starts early.

Often described as one of the most difficult tests in the world, the Master Sommelier Exam consists of three parts: wine theory, wine service, and a blind tasting of six wines. In the blind tasting, candidates must use deductive tasting to identify an unknown wine by grape, region, and vintage. Dozens take the exam each year. Only a handful pass.
The sommelier AU no one asked for: Sebastian, Lewis, and Nico are somms training to achieve the highest certification the wine world has to offer.
