Jisung hasn't taken his eyes of the melancholy statue of a desperate man longing for his father's love hoping that if his heart reaches out enough, he'll save Jisung from the internal hell he's trapped in.
Jisung’s heart starts to beat in time with the clack of dress shoes that loom closer each second that ticks away. His skin buzzes with excitement; prickling away, beads of sweat forming around the nape of his neck. He clenches his fist when the tip of his tongue runs over a ripped seam on his lip, the tangy taste of iron flooding his system. A meek prey being stalked by a predator; visions of teeth crunching through fragile bones.
Lips pressed taut into smile against the grain of his ear, a shudder vibrating Jisung to the core, "Who's your savior? Truly."
