Summary
Nicholas seeps through the cracks of his mind no matter what. In his sleep, while he works, even while he cooks. He especially feels it as he stands on the subway, his hand clutching one of the overheard handles. There’s music playing in his ears, but none of it is really being registered. He looks down at his wrist, a bright red string bracelet standing out against his pale skin. He thinks of a certain man who shares one that looks exactly like his and looks away.

Euijoo finds a picture of Nicholas, his friend with benefits (that he has a desperate crush on) on a date with another man.

Summary
Nicholas was not a religious man.
His parents were practical, science based people. Engineers. They found the way the world worked fascinating. They saw the physics in everything—the floorboards, the walls of the house, the garden. Everything was calculated with a particular symmetry to them. Even people.
Nicholas was not his parents.
Reason was not his home, and therefore he had no qualms with falling in love with Byun Euijoo.
