“You know,” Bedelia murmurs, almost thoughtfully, “When you first arrived here, Alana said you reminded her of a spider.”
Will blinks, shaking his head just once, not comprehending.
“Skulking around… Weaving your spidery little Will Graham web.” Will frowns, and Bedelia shushes him, like she’s trying to console him, her fingers dragging over his lips. “Don’t worry… I don’t think you’re a spider.”
Will’s eyes flicker, the barest sign of surprise. “No?”
“No,” she affirms, her voice steady now, sobering in real time. “There are certain… Qualities you possess, I will admit. Spiders wait. They build elaborate structures and trust the web to do the work for them.”
Her fingers slide up into Will’s hair, wetting it, combing through it, holding tightly onto it as she leverages herself upright, her pale, wet body glimmering in the low light of the bathroom.
“I think, really… You’re a moth,” Bedelia says, lifting her other hand now to cup his face again. “Quiet. Harmless looking. Drawn to what shines.”

Kai blinks.
“That's what this is about?” He feels incredulous. All of this stems from competitiveness? Where was that spirit during the actual competition?
“No— it's just— I made our kiss suck, right? Your lips were touching my teeth.” Soobin pulls a face, seeming to relive the memory.
“It wasn't supposed to be a kiss, hyung.”
“I know that! You made it one!” Soobin sits up straighter, gesturing with his hands frantically, like he does when he's getting passionate in an argument. Endearment tugs at Kai’s lips.
