Buck can’t resist, knowing he’ll be welcomed, he reaches to brush against the soft swell of Eddie’s bottom lip, the beloved imperfection of the scar there, the bristles of his mustache, thumbing the beginnings of a smile that turns wide and dazzling. Eddie leans in and Buck leans with him, into a kiss that’s mostly breath and laughter and the least uncertain Buck has ever been in his life.
