Summary
Izuku Midoriya and his high school sweetheart, Ochako Uraraka were happy being together. Izuku thought they’d always be together. He even supported her through her decision to retire as a hero, and instead work in an office. She wanted to have children, but their efforts to produce a pup were no use. They just couldn’t seem to get pregnant. And maybe it wasn’t wise to try with Izuku’s dangerous job.
Ochako never realized this until he went to America for a mission, and she wasn’t sure when he would be back. Or if he would make it. Bringing a pup into that wasn’t smart of her.————————————————————-
His nose ran with snot, and his cheeks painted with the slick of his tears. He reached out to Ochako, to brush against her cheek.
“Izuku, please, stop making this harder than it needs to be. I don’t want the house, I don’t want anything of yours. Please, just sign…”, she nearly whispered.
He snapped, “Is there someone else?”
She looked at him with wide, round eyes. “What?… No?”
Izuku frowned, sniffling back a sob. “Then why? Just tell me why…” -

Katsuki Bakugo is the leader of an underground crime syndicate. He is widely known, especially by the local precinct, as a cop killer. He can easily do whatever it is that he wants, and if he is met with any type of resistance, he will simply tear it down. Whether that resistance is flesh and blood, or not.
He finds his one weakness in the police department he hates most, purely by accident.————————————————————
“Freeze!”, the officer yelled. His hand trembled under the gun, he was new. Fresh. Yet, he seemed to recognize Katsuki.
Wide doe eyes sparkling as the sirens lit them up. Emeralds. Far more precious than the ones he was stealing. He couldn’t help but laugh as the officer’s chest heaved, Katsuki immediately knew this is not what he expected whenever he responded to a burglary tip. -

Izuku’s father couldn’t help but lie to the CEO. Of course his daughter would be thrilled to meet the CEO’s grandson, Katsuki. An eligible bachelor with a sharp tongue, still unwed as his prime slipped away from him. It could very well be a match made in heaven. Except, Hisashi had no intentions of giving his daughter away.
After all, his daughter was his son in a dress and a wig. That, and Katsuki Bakugo never took a wife from all of the meetings his grandfather had arranged. After all, his work was more important than any broad he’d be introduced to.——————————————————————-
His relationship with his father was a rocky one. He had barely known him, working overseas his entire adolescence. Well, save a few years. Though, Izuku couldn’t recall any memories of his father. How could he? The last time he saw the man he was three. So, when the man came back to Japan, and begging Izuku to meet with the CEO of his company, he felt indebted almost. His father, on his knees in front of him, begging Izuku to meet the CEO, and his grandson, and in return he would be given a place at the Japan branch.

His men seemed to be on edge, their fingers twitching and ready to grip the guns they hid in their holsters, but Izuku didn’t quite feel the same panic they had.
That was, until he glanced to the side, and set his gaze upon the reason for such behaviour - but his panic was of the different sort.
The boy didn’t quite fit in with the rest of the people in the place, perhaps that was why he’d caused such an atmosphere. Where everyone else wore leather jackets and scars upon their knuckles, he adorned a rather large orange hoodie and shaking hands. Where everyone’s gaze was sharp and lustful, his was fearful and bleary with unshed tears.
An anomaly in the world Izuku had grown up in, completely separate from the harshness that he had somehow stumbled into.

In which, Katsuki and Izuku struggle to find places in each other's lives - one with insecurities tied to his age regression, and the other with guns and a trail of death and blood behind him.
