Summary
"I can’t move in with you Mike. I don’t—” His voice breaks. Will turns away unable to look at him for what he’s about to say next.
Will stares up at the stars barely visible through the rain. “I don’t want to,” he whispers, sending a shudder down Mike’s spine.
“You don’t..” Mike swallows hard. “You don’t want to.” He chokes the words out, throat dry. But Will doesn’t react. He just starts walking away, leaving Mike alone in the freezing rain.
Or: Two painfully oblivious idiots are so obviously in love with each other, yet keep knocking their empty heads together like complete fools.
After a fallout that kept them apart for five years, Mike accidentally ends up moving into the same apartment complex as Will. When Will’s roommate suddenly moves out, they are forced to move in together.
Between unresolved feelings, Mike helping Will become the artist behind his book cover, and the chaos of planning a surprise for Nancy and Jonathan's wedding, the line between friendship and something more becomes impossible to ignore.

Then he heard kissing.
Loud, wet, enthusiastic kissing.
Oh. He stared at the ceiling while his brain caught up to his precarious situation. After living in New York for so long, he'd forgotten how well sound traveled here. How little insulation there was between his room and Will's. He'd lived with that fact his whole life and it had never once mattered, and he would have lived a long happy life having never thought about that fact again.
He heard a short bit of creaking, then the soft rustling of fabric.
“Fuck, Will…most perfect ass I've ever seen.”

“When we were like eight, Mike!” Will exclaims, not letting the idea of a naked Mike in front of him invade his mind too much.
