His heart gallops wildly within his rib cage as he calms himself. Or at least, he tries. It's a nun, but the sight is peculiar. The habit is typical for nuns here, with a simple black covering, white wimple, and wooden prayer beads that hang around the neck. Karamatsu is taken aback, though, because he has never seen a man wearing a habit.

Summary
You destroy a universe (with help, of course) and when you wake up in your bed on an Earth that is whole and totally not a ruin, you think things are pretty great. When you find there are three trolls with you, alive and well (and ok, angry too), you think things are pretty fantastic. When you find out your friends are alive, they're in their own beds and homes and have their own trollish company, you think things couldn't be better.
You couldn't be more wrong.
Well, actually, that's a lie. Everyone agrees that this is better than dying out in the veil, right? And it won't be that hard to settle a dozen trolls onto Earth, will it? It's just that when you dreamed about meeting up with everyone and making friends, this wasn't quite (or at all) what you expected.
Actually, Karkat is exactly as advertised. It’s everything else that’s a disaster.

Better summary inside! A complete rewrite of the entire Homestuck webcomic, albeit interpreted differently. Old characters make new appearances in vastly different guises, and the Overworld now intersects with the Medium in unexpected ways. This will be a long journey, filled with shattered assumptions and new revelations, and its ending will be the biggest twist of all!
