Summary
Helpless, hopeless, and understanding that he wasn't going to be getting any more answers from Tsukishima this morning. He stands up and attempts to catch Tsukishima’s surprised eyes in a hard glare. “Fine then! Be that way!”
His sudden yell scratches at his throat uncomfortably. He hates everything about this situation.
The stunned Tsukishima sits on his wooden dining chair, and watches the other stomp his way to their shared room, slamming the door harshly behind him. It almost served as a silencer for the whole world– the birds don't chirp outside the kitchen window anymore, and their neighbours TV can't be heard through their thin walls.
Tsukishima swallows saliva down, thinking about the interaction in a little more detail.
…He might’ve messed up.
In which Tsukishima learns that he can't say that Yamaguchi is too good for him without implying the opposite is also true.
