Summary
Shiota Nagisa liked Akabane Karma.
It wasn’t a shocking revelation, to say the least. Nagisa had realized it after the Save or Kill fight; precisely, on the trip back from space. What he felt for Karma wasn’t any familiar sort of platonic fondness, it extended beyond friendship. The tint of his cheeks, the burning sensation on his neck, the way anything that came out of Karma’s mouth had his mind in a chokehold. It was all too obvious– how could he not realize it when his heart felt like it was going to burst at every bump of the knee, every shared look, every touch.
He didn’t think much of it, since it was an inevitable conclusion. Shiota Nagisa liked Akabane Karma more than a friend, so what? It’s not as if there was any chance that Karma reciprocated.
Akabane Karma would not like Shiota Nagisa– he doesn’t.

Summary
Bachira never knew what it was like to love.
Love for another was irrelevant when it came to soccer, and soccer was the only thing Bachira was able to understand. Love remained that way all throughout the life he lived, not until that sole principle started falling apart. The one who saved him, the one who found him, Isagi Yoichi. Even if Bachira seemed aloof most of the time, he knew what was happening, he was starting to love, but he didn’t want it. He didn’t want something that would hinder his savior, he refused to hold Isagi back by a simple thing such as “love.”
Bachira learns that he should give feelings like this a chance, but that chance turns sour yet sweet. Love was never a simple thing to begin with.

"Isagi." Bachira groaned frustratedly.
"Bachira!" Isagi groaned back mockingly.

Isagi has never really stopped to question his sexuality, and he’s not about to do it now that he’s just started making a name for himself and living in an enclosed space with a bunch of boys with some serious anger-management issues.
However.
Isagi looks up from where he’s been kneeling on the field for the past minute, pretending to tie his shoe. He follows the sound of Bachira’s voice, like ringing bells, as he excitedly talks Kaiser’s ear off; Isagi’s not close enough to actually make out the words, but that’s not what’s bothering him.
Kaiser’s twirling a lock of Bachira’s hair on his nape from where his arm rests on Bachira’s shoulder. The asshole isn’t even paying attention, his gaze fixed on his own hand.
For an instant, Kaiser’s eyes meet Isagi’s. Isagi feels the urge to punch the stupid, placid smile off his face.
