Gojo Satoru, a powerful alpha Sentinel and jujutsu sorcerer, doesn't need a Guide, despite what Yaga and the higher-ups think. But it's find a Guide or get pulled from missions. Gojo doesn't expect to find a compatible Guide. He certainly doesn't expect Nanami Kento, who he hasn't seen in eight years, to suddenly enter his life again.
Nanami, a powerful omega Guide, has left both jujutsu and his days as a Guide behind. He's as happy as he can be in his life now, and he doesn't need any interruptions or distractions.
Gojo is both of those things, and Nanami isn't ready for him. But maybe they can help each other, heal each other, and find in one another a way to smooth their jagged, broken edges.

Their hands always strayed close together when they made their patrols—Nai always ready to catch his limping brother, always concerned for his balance when they traversed the dunes and craggy wreckage—Vash’s eyes always lingered on his own when they caught each other looking, fingertips brushing on waists, hands too high on thighs, necks, napes bare and tempting in the moonlight. Some wounds could only heal with time, and they had all the time they could ever possibly need.
They were made for each other. They were born in each other’s arms, perfect mirrors, perfect plants. Why shouldn’t they be together, in all ways and in all things?
